Goat Farm and Czech Countryside Tour
Our private guide will pick you up at the place of your stay in Prague and together you will drive North of Prague to an organic goat farm with approximately 100 goats and other animals, such as dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, geese, birds and sheep. On the way you will stop at Certovy Hlavy, our modest version of Mount Rushmore. The goat farm dates back to the middle ages, originally it belonged to a local stronghold. In 2000 a married couple of entrepreneurs bought the property and restarted the tradition of a goat farm. Today they produce various goat milk products and also sell goat hides. Everything is made naturally, without chemicals. After the goat farm we will take you to an old village in the area which serves today as an open-air musem. Afterwards we will continue to Litomerice, historical town on the joint of two rivers, and also we will show you briefly Terezin fortress which served as a concentration camp during WWII. Finally we will take you to Hazmburk castle, a ruin of medieval castle founded in the 14th century by the Czech king John Luxembourg. It was built on top of an extinct volcano, offering magnificient views on the Central Bohemian area.
This private tour is off the beat path tour, a perfect way how to discover the Czech countryside without many tourists.
