The Land of Wine and Castles – France

Duration: 16 days

Gorgeous countryside, great food, romantic castles…France has it all. Starting in always busy metropolitan Paris, the tour then continues by visit of some of the most beautiful castles in France. First stop is in Versailles, the most famous of all, which serves as an example of extravagant lifestyle of Louis XIV, the king of the sun. Afterwards we have a look on the chateau Fontainebleu which is one of the favorite weekend destinations of Parisiens. From there we continue through the Valley of Loire, a place full of romantic castles and luxurious mansions built alongside the river by both kings and noblemen. The tour then proceeds along the georgeous south-western coast of France and ends in the cosmopolitan city of Toulouse.
